Mrs. Muñoz (she/they) is a theater director, healing practitioner, and cultural worker. She is the Director of Artistic Innovation and Emergent Magic at Musical Theatre Factory, a New York City–based company that equips artists to create musical stories as a collective force for justice, healing, and radical imagination. A director originally from the Rio Grande Valley, Brisa has spent the past 15 years creating in New York City and across the globe. Her work spans Broadway, national tours, and grassroots community projects, merging artistic innovation with civic dialogue, participatory performance, and collective care. She has collaborated with institutions including the American Repertory Theater, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Center Theatre Group, The Public Theater, Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Shed, Harvard University, and Arts for Everybody.
