A New Era for Latiné Musical Theater

A Project of Teatro SEA & Grupo Morán, LLC

Developing, Producing & Amplifying Latiné Voices on the American Stage

About Us

Introducing EL MUSICAL

For decades, Latiné creators have contributed to the legacy of musical theater — now it’s time for a platform that uplifts our voices, our stories, and our rhythms.
EL MUSICAL will nurture a new generation of creators through grants, mentorship, and opportunities to bring Latiné musicals to life — in Spanish, English, or both!

A new platform powered by Teatro SEA and Grupo Morán LLC dedicated to the promotion, development,
and production of new Latiné musicals
.

Teatro SEA: The nation’s premier bilingual Latiné theater for young audiences, with 40 years of producing award-winning original musicals for both young and adult audiences.

Grupo Morán LLC: A commercial independent production/performance group under the direction of Dr. Manuel A. Morán, which boasts a team of seasoned creative professionals whose multi-disciplinary capabilities and experience make them a comprehensive production agency.

Why NOW

Why The Musical

For decades, Latiné artists have shaped the sound and soul of musical theater — from our communities and barrios to Broadway. Yet our voices are still underrepresented. El Musical was created to change that.
A platform built by Latiné artists, for Latiné artists — to amplify our stories, celebrate our diversity, and elevate our place in the world of musical theater.
